Hyperparam created two projects that brought ML/AI to developers. PostgresML Sundry
- Develop new features and user interfaces (both marketing and product sides), using Rust, Rocket, Bootstrap, Turbo, and Stimulus. Rebuilt sites frontend to a new design, implemented teams functionality, rebuild CMS (docs and blog), and rebuilt email system to utilize Sendgrid, enhancing marketings control of email designs and campaigns.
- Architected efficient, reusable front-end systems optimized for high-performance web applications.
- Prototyped an LLM context provider web application with Rust, Leptos, and Tailwind. This was a greenfield project with a 2-month window for validating the idea.
- Lead the development of our teams functionality and guided architectural improvements.
- Prevented data loss through a clever rollout of features, scoping and testing.
- Collaborated across teams (design, operations, extension) to deliver products and mentored junior team members in my area of expertise.

Nuclear plant instrumentation and control development and testing division.
- Participated in multi-tier testing scheme to find software issues present in new generation nuclear plant Instrumentation and Control software and hardware.
- Collaborated with team to build S1B Instrumentation and Control lab used to test software on physical components.
- Wrote and reviewed technical procedures to evaluate hardware and software performance.
- Performed tests and worked with software engineers to find and correct any hardware and software issues.
- Worked with computer tools such as DOORs, Excel, Python, remote servers and DERT system.
- Participated in work schedule planning and tasking team.
Nuclear Plant Engineer
January 2014 - May 2018
Nuclear plant instrumentation and control development and testing division.
- Worked as shift test engineer to coordinate over 200 staff to complete a nuclear safety test over a 6-month period. We received the 2018 Team Achievement Award for our success.
- Coordinate maintenance evolutions between subcontractors, union, non-union and Navy personnel. Verified team adhered to safety standards, ensured workers were fit, ready and able to perform tasks required.
- Managed divisional leadership to train and graduate class of sixty students.
- Routinely managed team of ten people in safe operation and emergency response of land-based nuclear power plant.
- Trained US Navy nuclear operators on nuclear power plant operations, including 1-on-1 instruction.
- Acted as Sectional Supervisor of Plant Simulator.
- Utilized engineering schematics and drawings to perform troubleshooting and maintenance.
